How to interpret the Quran rightly

God has given principles for understanding the Quran correctly as intended by Him in the Quran. They are similar to the linguistic rules applied in understanding written or spoken text.

One, that the Quran should be understood with a pure and clean mind.

Two, to avoid the Satanic misguidance, one must keep following the instructions and facts of belief as told by God, such not paying any attention to the false and fabricated Hadith which have no witnesses for the narrators and are against the Quran.. One must depend on the meanings expressed by the words and their arrangement in the verses in the context with coherence and good organisation. The wrong and unsuitable translations do not show the use of the most suitable words with the same concept of the Arabic words. There is generally no logical relationship between the thoughts and the words used to clearly express the meanings of the verses. Research must be done to find suitable and fitting words in translation and a clearly exposed meaning of the verses.

Third, a good dictionary such as that of GA Parwez and Lanes Lexicon must be consulted for different meanings of the root words and their use in the Quran and the lives of the people at the times of revelations.

Fourth, Arabic grammar must be learnt. Being an expert of Arabic Language is better but not necessary. I have understood the Quran better with the above linguistic principles..

Fifth, the logical relationships of the words and thoughts must be understood in the context with coherence and organisation of the verses.

Read a Quran with word by word translation to know the meanings of the words which can be confirmed with a good dictionary.

These important principles were ignored by almost all thebtranslators in English and Urdu which I have read.

Go ahead and start reading the Quran with these principles correctly.

In the next post, I will translate Sura AlFatiha which in fact means the victory giving chapter to the believers for the establishment of Code of life given bybGid in the Quran and the Straight Path of God to walk on in life. They are instructions to say and do good deeds and not to say or do evil deeds as given in the Quran and in accordance with it.

If you agree with this translation please share it, translate it into any language you prefer to do, act upon all these instructions of God in your life after understanding, remembering, and acting upon them to get their increased rewards from God. God be with you all.
