Understand verses 41 to 79 rightly with the linguistic and Quranic method

These verses are not correctly understood because bad influence of the false Hadith and taking literal meaning when metaphorical meanings are given by God.

God says that He has selected him( Moses) for Himself ( to do a job).He ordered Moses and Aaron ( to go to Pharaoh) with His messages and not to lethargic in remembering Him, because he has transgressed ( committing many sins). And speak to him with a gentle speech that perhaps he may remember God and fear His punishment. Moses and Aaron were afraid that he will punish them or he will transgress. God said that they should not fear him because God is with them.So they went to him and they are Messengers of God and so send with them the children of Israel and do not torment them. If not, God will punish those who deny Him and turn away. Then they told him that God gives everything needed by the people. He created all and gave instructions and take the account of their actions for punishment or reward.

But he denied and refused to do, what was asked by them. He told them that he will bring magic like it. When the religious scholars of the people came, not to invent lies against God, for which they will be punished by God.So they discussed and disputed among themselves over their beliefs Amro Hum, their activities). Then they started telling about their beliefs and actions which seemed to Moses like moving snakes and he feared. God ordered him to tell them about the instructions of God  ( the staff ) and you will be proved superior. Then the magicians ( religious scholars who lied) obeyed and believed in the Lord and Master of Moses, And did not fear the punishment by Pharaoh.

This proves that a debate took place between the religious scholars of Pharaoh and Moses in which Moses won and they believed in his Lord and Master. Magic means lies.
